How to Get a Photo
We did not have some guy come out and take your picture and then charge you $15 for a copy. All of these pictures are free. (Course, that guy probably takes better shots.) Here is how you can get a picture.
These pictures were taken with a Canon S110 digital camera (the official camera of the VHTRC). Each collage is composed of several individual shots. The individual shots are 1024 x 768 in JPEG format and the file size is between 250 and 300 kb. The shots vary in quality.
If you want a photo:
- First, identify the photo for me. Please use the title of the collage that is found along the side (e.g. "Turnaround 5"). Then please identify yourself clearly "the woman on top row, third from left, red halter top, number 47." (You don't need to give your number unless it is visible on the photo.) Please give me more than "blue jacket."
- Decide whether you want the raw photo (advantage: you can crop it yourself and it's much better quality; disadvantage: the file size is bigger) or a cropped version about 600 pixels wide and saved to about 50% JPEG compression.
- Decide how you want it delivered. If I e-mail it, the next time you check your e-mail it may choke on the long download. Alternatively, I can put it on the web and you can download it from there.
- E-mail your request to: Anstr@att.net. Allow six weeks for delivery. Seriously, I should be able to get right back to you unless my day job interferes.
