Bull Run Run 2006

Southern Hat

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the event! We could have the run with fewer runners but not with fewer volunteers.

How to Volunteer

If you want to volunteer please contact Chris at ChrisScott@vhtrc.org. In your e-mail, please tell Chris the following. If you give him this information up front, it will save several rounds of e-mail exchanges:

  • When you can work: We have jobs on Friday and Saturday. Race day jobs start very early and go all day. "When you can work" includes not only when you can arrive, but how long you can stay.
  • What you would like to do: The information below should give you an idea of what is needed. If you will do "anything," say that, but if you have a preference please let us know. Also, if you have prior experience or a needed skill, please let us know that.
  • Shirt size and North/South Allegience: We are going to give you a shirt for your labors. Don't be shy. Tell us the size you will want and your North/South allegience so we will give you the right color. The shirts are "technical" and come in both men's and women's cuts.
  • Cell Phone Number: [optional] If you have a cell phone that would help us communicate with you over race weekend, please include that too.
