Robert Andrulis sent us the following from the Bear 100 miler that runs from Utah to Idaho.

Tom Nielsen was second at the Noble Canyon 50km in San Diego County on September 26. Scott Mills puts on this event, and it is receiving rave reviews.  Some folks need to go out there next year. Results | Noble Canyon Web site

The Grand Teton 100 Miler looked perfect. It was the right weekend in that it did not interfere with vacation plans, it looked to be in a beautiful spot, and the race directors appeared to know what they were doing. So just like that I became committed to the Grand Teton 100 Miler in Alta, Wyoming, on Sept. 5 and 6. 

Great weather and a lot of stuff went on the weekend of September 19-20.  Events included: Youngstown Ultra Trail 50k (Results) | Alex and Scott's 12 Hour | Iroquios 100 miler (results)  | Delaware 100 | the North Face® Endurance Challenge

Martha Nelson obliterated the course record at the 17th VHTRC Women's Half Marathon Trail Run held on September 12 at Fountainhead Regional Park. Neil Gorman, Dave Yeakel, and Ed Cacciapaglia finished the Wasatch 100 miler in Utah on September 12. Neil was eighth overall.  Event Web site | Results
