Oil Creek 100

"A handful of VHTRC individuals were at the inaugural Oil Creek 100 Trail Runs this past Saturday [October 10] - Bob Combs, Margie Hughes, Brian Musick, Hunt Bartine, Tom Sperduto (first 100) and I. Probably others that I missed. Great race. Technical course with over 17,000 feet of gain. Excellent first year event and Tom Jennings is to be commended for all of his effort as a first time RD."

Quad State Quad Buster - October 24

On October 24, the Quad State Quad Buster will return after a several year absence. This 40++ mile run takes you through four states in one day.  It is not for everyone. You will need to move relatively quickly to finish in the daylight.  More information

Ellen Komesarook Wins Andiamo

On October 10, Ellen Komesarook became the second woman to win the Andiamo 45 mile run outright. In the process, she shaved a few seconds off of Amanda Stickel's female course record. Thirteen people finished this traditional, but small, VHTRC event. Results and report

Arkansas Traveller 100

Steve Core reports: "VHTRC member Tom Simonds finished the Arknsas Traveller with a time of 26:57:20. He ran the last eight hours under relentless, cold rain, and managed to finish 33rd overall!!" Results | Event Web site

Noble Canyon 50km
