Twenty-four runners started the 2002 Wild Oak Trail 100. One finished. The weather was generally good but, as Dennis said, "It was 22 degrees at Camp May Flather on Saturday morning and 6 degrees on Sunday morning." The trail is rugged and wild. Keith Knipling said of the trail: "[I] registered over 8000 feet of climb each loop (that’s over 32,000 for the full 100!)" |
