The team competition featured 16 teams battling for prizes in five categories.

The WUS powerhouse only one one division this year, but that was a dominating win. The first three members of team WUSsies come Lately - Mario Raymond, Brian Greeley, and Ryan Foster - all broke eight hours. Birgit Mitchell was just over nine hours to seal the win.

The male winning team, Jocelyn and the Hired Guns, dominated even more. Team members Brian Schmidt, Brad Hinton, and Sean Andrish were third, fourth, and fifteenth. That left the win for the fourth runner, Keith Knipling, to lose. He took a bit to come in, but he saved the win by breaking nine hours. Jocelyn Wong formed the team, but had to withdraw due to injury.

The winning female team, Team STAKK, had four lovely ladies, three of whom were under ten hours, Stephanie Wilson, Kari Brown, and Kathleen Cusick. The fourth team member, Tracy Dahl, finished in under 11 hours. That made two team winners in her household.

The Oldest Category was won by four BRR legends -- Frank Probst, Tom Green, Bill Wandel, and Bob Anderson. These have, respectively, 21, 21, 19, and 15 BRR finishes. The youngest one of them, Tom, is 62 years old.

The prestigious Slowest title was competitive. MCRRC Absolute Zeros appeared to have "three-peated" by winning the title three years in a row. But after further review, it turned out that management had done the math wrong. The winning was Team Rocket composed of K Mike Edwards, Jennifer Weiland, Mark Zimmerman, and Stephanie Fonda. All of them finished in the last hour of the event. The Zeros lost because two members ran under 12 hours.

Teams are scored by the sum of the places of all members. Lowest score wins in the fastest categories. Highest score wins in the slowest category. If any runner doew not finish within the event time limit, his or her team is disqualified.
