Vienna Metro Parking Lot
 We often meet at the Vienna Metro parking lot to travel to training runs. Take the I-66 west of the beltway and take the first exit--Exit 62/Nutley Avenue/Route 243. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp (toward Vienna). Once on Nutley, move to the left lane immediately and take the first left. Follow the road around and enter the first parking lot entrance unless it's a week day. We meet in the parking lot on the north (outbound) side of I-66. (There is a parking lot on the south or inbound side--don't go there. Also, do not go to the parking structure.)
There is no charge to park on weekends or holidays. On weekdays, when there is a charge to park, go to the kiss and ride lot, meet, and organize before committing your car to a pay lot. Don't use the "now I have to pay to leave" story to avoid doing your share of driving. |
