Entry Process

January 2 update

Entry for the 2020 event will open later this year, probably in late spring or early summer.

Entry is limited to 240 runners. If the race fills, we’ll have a wait list.

You must be at least 18 years old on race day to enter. There is one exception to this rule: If you will be at least 16 years old on the day of the race, you may enter if you are on a mother-daughter team. Your mother must co-sign your waiver with you at check-in.

How You Pay

All registration is online via PayPal, though you do not need an account with PayPal to make your payment.

Transfers and Refunds

Entry is not transferable to other runners.

(If you got a free spot in the 2019 race but couldn’t use it, we’re sorry that we’re unable to extend that freebie to future years.)

If you pay for entry and must withdraw from the race, there’s a small possibility you could get a refund. This would happen only if there’s a wait list and someone bumps up from that list to take your place on the entrants list. (This hasn’t happened for the past few years.) We keep $5 of any refund. No refunds after the date entry closes.

(More information about refunds is on the withdrawal page).
