Welcome to the VHTRC Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 Mile Trail Run

The Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 mile run (MMT 100) is a challenging, rocky 100 miler on the trails of the Massanutten Mountains in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. The course includes short but rugged mountain climbs with 18,500 feet of total ascent. There is a 35 hour cutoff. Established in 1995, MMT is one of the oldest 100 milers in the country, and is put on by volunteers from the Virginia Happy Trails Running Club.

VHTRC Trail Work Party May 11th

Come work on the trails in the Massanutten Mountains on May 11. Our primary purpose is to prepare for the upcoming MMT 100 miler, though these are the trails we use all year long. Have fun and do your part to maintain the trails we all love to run at the same time. Click Here to Sign Up

This is an updated web site for the 2019 event. All of the information a prospective runner (and their crew) needs is here (or soon will be… it’s a work in progress). The historic MMT site has information from years’ past, including past reports.
