Jason Lantz won the 18th Massanutten Mountain 100 Mile in 19:33:18. Eva Pastalkova lowered her event record by almost a half hour in winning the women's division and placing sixth overall. Jack Pilla was fourth overall and the first Senior runner. His time took hours off the Senior record. (Eva and Jack continue the MMT tradition of setting records without crews or pacers.) The weather was great. There was no rain and no mud. The finish line featured good, hot food for 18 hours thanks to the efforts of Team Gaylord.
We will have more information here soon. In the meantime, a huge thank you to all who marked the course, manned the aid stations, radioed the times, and manned the start/finish.
